I only have three 94's. if they can't/won't build one like the 38-55 I have that was built in 1896 then they can just ..................... :shock: Well I sure Hope Uberti makes the '94.then it might be made the way it was designed.Jim.

Now everybody knows this is impossible, the 30-30 simply is not enough gun for critters bigger than small game, you really need one of the new wiz-bang magnums. :) ....

I don't think you would need 20gr of 2400 to get 1100fps with a 230gr.slug. Elmers load of 18.5gr 2400 under a 255gr is My hands down favorite. Have Fun. Jim.

The biggest suprise for Me in the reloading instructions is that "FG" powder is reccomended, don't know ,but seems the loads I have seen used FFG. Jim.

The first thing that comes to My Mind is how big is the bore on a .44 cap&ball revolver?? even if the cylinder would fit will common bullets for the colt (.452-.454") even fit the bore.?

I have the 24"delux sporting rifle. .45 colt. It is a great shooter. I had no trouble duplicating the original 44-40 load using a 200gr bullet and HS6. I like 24" barrels.Jim.

I would have bought it too. We may pay high prices for these old guns but many of them will never be made again. I think Marlin is missing the boat for not offering the big-bore rifles like the 93 or 36. You could easily restore that rifle to like new or enjoy it as is. Jim.
