The wife is a great shooter with her model 36 loaded with Gold Dot 125HP +p, Daughter#1 likes the pre model 27 with Remington 148gr match wadcutters, #2 prefers the Glock 17 and keeps two extra mags loaded. All good Texas girls!

80 here yesterday, played frisbee with the canine. Supposed to be 82 today, (record heat). Probably have the kids wash the truck. I worked a winter on a pipeline in New England one winter, used to like snow before that.

Nice. Texas is trying to legalize carry of Bowie knives. 5.5 inches is the current legal blade length unless you are hunting. A ridiculous restriction in my opinion. :mrgreen:

Wife got me some merino wool socks for Christmas 2 years ago. They are great with insulated boots and a goose down parka tops me off. It rarely gets below 0 here, but the 30 mph wind is fairly constant.

Found the big double bit at the bottom of the pile. It says made in Sweden and has a crown with 3 letters or numbers on the other side, can't tell. The axe came for the pacific north west, as did most from my collection.

I know of a veteran owned print shop that does great work. Can get his number in town tomorrow if you like, but might be less expensive to handle locally.
