In this case the bend was from someone NOT getting the spring cocked. When the barrel closed under spring pressure the barrel slammed and the muzzle kept going causing the front sight up. When he was beating that babbit bar he held the breech end with the sights up, with the bend. Have to eyeball wh...

Re: Did I say how much I like WMR?
Years ago had a crippled buck here, hit by a car, tried for a week to catch up with him to end his suffering. Since I'm in a neighborhood I couldn't just grab a gun and shoot him. Finally on CHRISTMAS eve I saw him in the yard, went upstairs and eased a window open, stuck my 10/22 out the window and...

Huh? I can't hear you! That looks a bit like a 40 s&w case that fired from an early pistol caliber AR a buddy of mine has. Took a while to figure out how to spring it. Somewhere I have 9mm that were shot from my G23, they feed from the mag and if the extractor grabs them the gun is reliable- but...

Did they ask for the bent barrel back? I had an RWS air rifle I picked up with a bent barrel, still shot great but always high. Now your 'pimpin' I picked up a blackhawk in 41 years ago, has more holster wear then use. I took the aluminum grip frame off and replaced it with a brass frame from Midway. I/we hit upon your idea years ago but slightly different. Buddy of mine would use a cross, either magic marker or just black tape. This system worked very well for iron sights. Just center up the sights on the cross and shoot. For scoped guns I use red rosin paper, 3'x 150', cut to any size you like...

Black Friday ( Sunday) spending
The REAL NEWS station, Fox, just had a quick thing on about NCIS for this past Sunday, the 27th.
They didn't say dollars spent but they said it was a record for daily back ground checks at 185,000+ checks!
Looks like Mr Trump IS making America Great Again!!!

Match bullets tend to have very thin jackets( or used to). If I knew I could get a head shot I would feel comfortable with it but I don't think I would use that bullet for a body shot. It could blow up as a flesh wound or act like a FMJ... Nosler 60 gr partition, the GMX, Fusion or a Barnes monolith...

Years ago I knew an AR7 that was ' worked' if your trigger finger was a little too heavy it would double, triple or dump the whole mag at once!
Seems to me this Henry in question probably has a bad barrel/ receiver lock up.
No doubt Henry will rectify it in no time at all!
