Re: Winchester 65 218 Bee
Good luck finding a .218 bee for less than $1000 in any condition. An original winchester in good condition is going to be closer to $2000. You can't buy a used 30-30 for $500 any more. Any of the niche calibers command a significant mark up. Yes. I've been looking and these are going for close to ...

Winchester 65 218 Bee
I have had this gun in my hands, it's rough, freckled bluing on receiver and barrel. At some point it was drilled & tapped for a side mount. Bore is quite dusty but looks decent but without stuffing a patch down it I can't really tell. Who ever had this gun had a high comb cheek piece stock made...

Being a club we are considered 'semi wild ' and buy our own birds through outside contractors. The state gives us permits each year to stock and all birds must be tagged. Typical bureaucracy to be in control of the people.... Anyhow, we are not required to stick to state bag limits. Semi wild hunts ...

All came together today for an epic hunt! We stocked 50 birds this morning, warm though around 50°. Parker was into every puddle she could find. I couldn't guess how many miles she did! Anyhow my little CZ 410 got a workout, I fired 12 shots for 10 birds 3" 7narfs by Winchester. One of the chuk...

Ok, ok I guess it wasn't overkill as I'm reminded of a groundhog I shot with a 12ga slug, completely unzipped it. Oh and the cotton tail that happened to get skinned from a 17 Remington.

For a shoot like that I'd either want a heavy ( trap gun) or a gas operated semi. The Benelli is using up energy in the bolt cycle that would otherwise be hitting your shoulder. Those shoots would be a real gain if a guy was ambidextrous - even out the hurt! Yeah the Beretta 680 series guns just don...

Recently the state has allowed tracking dogs to find your deer. They all seem to be small dogs, must be leashed as well.
