Re: Are Benchmade Knives Worth The Price?
I live within a 10 mile radius of Kershaw(Kai), Gerber, Benchmade, CRKT, Leatherman, etc. They ALL make good products. I prefer Benchmade. The ones I have "fit" me and fill their purpose. I can drive up to Oregon City and drop it off when it needs sharpening or service. They will sharpen a...

Re: Weaver vs. Vortex opinions?
Isn't that Weaver a rimfire scope (RV7)? The Vortex is a centerfire.
I have several of the newer, higher end, Vortex PST scopes on AR's and have no issues.
I have several centerfire and rimfire Weavers also. No problems with them also.

Why is this bid up $20,000 more than it's market value? It sure isn't pristine or rare. It ain't my money, just curious as to why.

Snubby 22 mags have a VERY loud report and a VERY large fire ball. This will double that, so if you miss you might be able to light them on fire and deafen them (and you).

I bought myself a birthday gift this year. I sent (2 months ago) a s/s revolver back to S&W for some hand engraving. I gave them them my budget and they sent me examples of what they could do. I should have it back before the end of the year.

Ruger isn't even comparable to what this is. Freedom Arms Premier Grade start at $2800.

Apples and Oranges A better comparison is the Ruger M4 and the S&W Victory. It also depends on the Ruger model, longer barrel = longer sight radius = potentially better accuracy. If you put a Tandemkross trigger into a Victory and a Volquartsen upgrade kit into a Ruger they are going to be fairl...

The 455 has a pinned barrel that allows you to swap calibers. The 452 was a screwed in barrel and was caliber specific.
