Re: article ..... the .375 Winchester Remembered
Don't have one, and never fired one. It does seem almost criminal that it had such a short run. I guess that it just didn't have much chance against the 3,000 fps bolt action cartridges that all gun magazines were and still are pushing. I may joke about the mild mannered cartrides, but 38 caliber w...

Re: article ..... the .375 Winchester Remembered
I bought my Marlin 375 nearly 15 years ago (does not seem like it could be that long ago). Back then I was looking for a Marlin 336 in 30 WCF to send off to get bored out and cut down (inspired by AK Church http://www.leverguns.com/articles/AKChurch/trappers.htm) when I breezed into a local hardware...

As I get older those sights get murkier and fuzzier. I never liked scopes on lever guns but ……. Another concession I am making to old age. How do you like the Henry? BTW Lamm's speech is widely available. I have a couple thoughts to share. For a hundred dollars you can buy a gun cabinet and put it in a closet or corner of a room. These are just sheet steel and not fire rated but they keep your firearm out of sight and allow air flow and more importantly under lock and key. They won't stop a professio...
