Re: Besides Lever guns what does everyone enjoy?

I'm a fan of almost any old gun, but my favorites are old single shot rifles, especially Marlin Ballards, and late 1800's schuetzen rifles. I collect old ammo, and also old shooting accessories and tools too. Do some gun restoration and repairs, as my skills and tools allow also. I also have owned a...

I watched the video on slo-mo and missed the reload ... I'm getting blind. I also found the video on You-tube. I feel sorry for the store owner. One dead and one maybe injured. I suppose a montage type video where the shooter was shown in a variety of garbs and so on each time the video kicked back to the shooter could have made the point better: that the bad-guy may look Muslim, redneck, Nazi, psychotic, agitated, calm, and be old, young, black, white, male, female or ev...

A major function of being prepared is always being aware of your surroundings. Don't ever let yourself feel safe because of where you are. You can't always identify the threat before it's too late, and you can rarely react quick enough if you let your guard down. The threat wont always look like a t...

We can argue all day long about what a shooter may look like. It has little to do with the real issue of being prepared, and knowing how to respond when it happens. I doubt when shots are fired that anyone cares how the shooter is dressed, or what color he or she is.

Doubt a fox that calmly observes you at the door, or simply waits outside for a treat, has rabies. More likely he is tame (as others mentioned) and is waiting for a hand out. Not that a fox wouldn't take a cat or small dog, so I'd keep them inside, but not worry about rabies in that one.
