Does my B-78 in 30-06 count? Single shot but it has a lever and with only a 2.5X scope it is accurate to the point of being almost unbelievable. marlinman93, that is one beautiful rifle. I've actually shot a carbine like it that was in 25-20 too. Shot a SASS match with it even though it wasn't within the rules.

Lookin' good Jim. Makes my mouth water. We have a big old grinder that came out of wife's grandfather's store up in Kansas. Doesn't gum up so bad when the meats frozen does it? We're full up on beef right now but will make room for venison soon. I need deer to make chili. Or burro.

Excellent Rube. Very, very excellent. I had the pleasure of spending a day in the saddle on the J-S. Did you know the south fence of the corrals is the border fence? The cussed horse I had borrowed actually tore a post out of the shed where I tied him. Well, it made a memory.

Outstanding! Thanks Carlsen, the main reason I like shooting black powder is to prevent set back bullets. Getting too old to hunt much but will get the 73 SRC out soon.

The wife and I have our father's model 12s in 16 gauge. My dad's is a 26 inch full and her's is 28 inch modified. The guys from those years really liked 16s and since I grew up with one I'm still stuck on them.

I use a 300 grain, gas checked, cast bullet over AA5744 in my Browning 86 SRC and I have the Lyman receiver sight dialed in for it. Also the barrel has been shortened by 3 inches to make the whole thing the same length as a 94 SRC. Super n handy that way. It wears an old leather sling too.

Me too Jim. 'cept I was 14 I think. My first handgun was a Remington 44 that I paid $37.50 for. All the blue was polished off but the action was tight and it needed a new set of nipples. I found a set of new old stock ones. Really like your pics. My Dad never did things like that.

Will you need to full length size? I have a Roller that was 11.7X51R. I ran a 45-70 reamer in it and the fired cases are reloaded with ffg, a card wad and a grease cookie. No. 10 will be expensive but new ones are obtainable. The barrel will need a twist rate that matches the length/weight of the bullet you wish to use.
