Re: Let’s talk about shotguns for serious use.

I'm not much of a shotgun guy. I'll use em if I have to, but if I can figure a way around it, I won't. Partridge is all I really use them for. I've never kept one for home defense or in my vehicles. I always opted for handguns and short carbines. I do realize, however, I'm standing all alone on my s...

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect

GK wins! Yeah, Walt hangs with us pretty well! Spud guns! We used to make them from PVC pipe. A "barrel" about 3 feet long if about 2 or 2.5 inch PVC. Put a clean out at the breach. Drill a hole and put a gas grill ignitor at the back. Muzzle load the potato so it cores the potato to a tig...

Being the closest Americans to you, we call em spuds too. And fish and chips is a thing here. Cause we got lots of fish, and Maine is second only to Idaho as a potato producer. Up in "the county" there are huge...I mean huge, potato farms. They let the schools out very year for harvest time.

Nice work Griff. There's no doubt the lifespan is reduced with the Wolff mainspring. I haven't had an issue, but mine see way less action than yours for sure. I'm not as concerned about breaking it as modifying my original. I refrained from leather under the mainspring for that very reason. A plasti...

Re: Chairmen of the Politically Incorrect

My wife absolutely loves potatoes. Loves em. As for the deer...... It depends greatly on WHAT they are being fed. Some things do more harm than good, and tends to just make the "feeder" feel better. Depending on how it's put out (at least up here), the bigger deer beat up and drive off the...
