Reduced 30-30 loads in my H R singleshot are with XMP 5744.I use a 1/4 gr or so of polyester fiber fill on top of the powder and a 170 gr gascheck Lyman bullet.Allshoot well enough thru peep sights at 50 yds for deer.

The only stamping on the sight is a single "W" on the back of the elevation slide.The box is marked No 70 WWH.Also Winchwster 77-88.It has the rounded ball shaped adjusting knobs.Warrenty paper in box states"this Redfield 70-WWH".

Looking for a peep sight for a post 64 Win Mod 88.Do not want a tang type as I have a new stock and the receiver is factory drilled/tapped to accept sight. Is there a replacement front sight such as the M-1 and M-14 have.I always enjoyed using that type of front sight with the rear peep.
