Anybody done any experimenting with this new powder & the Waters? Hodgdon lists only other cartridge data. Just curious since it is based on the 30-30 cartridge.

Can someone give me a crash course in the correct way to operate the takedown feature on a 1894 Winchester? A local shop has one in 25-35 & I would like to disassemble it. They are not sure how to do it either. Thanks.

Thanks for the link OI, SmokeEater2, I have had good luck with PMC ammo too. I am leery of lead free primers though. They don't last as long as the "leaded" type. My Hornady 4th Ed. says "useful velocity" of 1900 to 2200 for the 170 gr.

I'm not sure of pressure #'s, but the Winchester Big Bore models all have extra steel in their receivers.
