I think the style harks back to the muzzleloading Jaegar rifles.They were short barreled hunting rifles or muzzleloading carbines of the day so to speak.

It is five shot clip fed.Blaser sells a barrel for the 22mag,22lr and 17rimfire.It works slick as snot and is very accurate.Shells eject out of the left side of the barrel.

I was looking at the reintroduced Browning A bolt shotgun and have put it on my must have list for this year.It will make a woods gun I m thinking,I plan on getting the model with the wood stock.Though a bit pricy the quality is there.
