Jim, that very configuration -- the 10 with four-inch HB, is about my favorite Smith. I agree, this revolver simply wants to shoot. I don't like them. But living most of my life on the edge of the Pacific Subduction Zone, they were a fact of life. Once they get above 6.0 on the Richter, the creep factor increases exponentially.

I have had pretty good luck with Midway and Grafs, preferring to order from the latter, smaller outfit when possible, and I have already paid for enough of Potterfield's safaris. :lol:
I've noticed a number of big sellers quietly popping up on Amazon.

I hadn't realized the Cinnabar Ranch was between Paisley and Summer Lake. Dad, brothers and I used to hunt ducks at Summer Lake Wildlife Refuge. Fished some of the high mountain creeks in the Paisley Ranger District. It's spectacular country.
