Re: Gotta love ratchet straps!
I have used all of the items mentioned for repairs, emergency trail repairs and extrications. But a long time off roader gave me a bit of advice many decades ago. “A 4x4 without a winch is like a condom with a hole in it. It might look good but sooner or later you’re going regret using it”. It was a...

In the spirit of what the OP ask, .357 mag. However I would prefer in in my Desert Eagle over any of my wonderful S&W revolvers. The DE has a higher capacity and more rapid reloading.

Not all was a crock. I have a sensitivity to MSG. It causes my tongue to swell to a point it presses painfully against my teeth, even leaving indentations on my tongue.

In 7.62 I have a strong affinity for the Springfield M1A. But that's driven by experience. I've never fired any other "battle rifles" in 7.62. I picked up a Scout Squad when they first came out. I liked the handling of the slightly shorter barrel ove the ful sized M1A. The, even shorter, S...

Interesting part of WW II that isn't generally known outside of Norway. Even less known but strategically vastly more important was the sinking of the SF Hydro. Carried out knowing full well Norwegian civilians would likely be killed.
