MecGar is a gold standard for magazines. Many manufacturers subcontract them to make “factory” magazines. They make an excellent magazine.
Promag is more of a budget maker. Varied results in my experience.

351PD has an extra heavy mainspring from the factory for reliable DA ignition of 22 mag ammo which has thicker brass cases than standard 22lr. Very nice gun. Classic guns often disadvantaged in that they are kept locked up and deprived of fresh air. You did the gun a favor by getting it out for some fresh air. I bet you enjoyed the walk too!
