9422, my 1980 94 had the same problem, not as bad as yours though. Once you take the lower tang out of the receiver, you can lightly pull the flat trigger stop spring up (that lays on top of the trigger stop) with a small screw driver and carefully take some of the spring out of it. Go real easy bec...

Thanks marlinman93, I kinda figured the Savage was pretty rough to look at, but then again Savages usually are very accurate and with a little elbow grease I bet you could make it look good.
I do like the Uberti though, wonder what tang site would be correct for it?

I think as long as it is secure, dry and somewhat cool temperature wise, you should be OK.
I picked up a locking metal cabinet and took over a closet in the house to store mine.

Joe, the one I have only required a little bit of material taken off the bottom of the sight, you could do it with a piece of sandpaper on a flat surface easily. His sights come with a flat face, I did put 40 LPI serration’s on the rear of the front sight to cut down on glare. http://i33.photobuck...

I carry either my 4 5/8" Ruger SBH .44Mag with 240gr XTP's at around 1400fps. Or my Glock 20 10mm with 200gr WFNGC at around 1300fps. I also carry full time, S&W 442 with Hydroshocks and a Glock 27 40S&W with Golddots. Glocks are ugly plastic pistols and I have sold a few off, but don't...
