My 71's do not have bolt peep sites either, I'm happy with the old steel Lymans that they wear.
I would imagine finding a bolt that was for a peep site would be the easiest way to go, next would be to have your bolt machined to fit the site.

Joe, I by whatever brand, I can find in the caliber needed and they fit.
If you want to extend the life of your brushes, spray them out with break cleaner after you use them.

Twobit you may be right, but the wood is far from perfect, a little conditioner and the right camera angles do wonders in the pictures

A little shrinkage in the wood at the tang area is fairly common after 105 years too.
