I shot an 80 round silhouette match with a 45-70. The next day my neck and shoulder reminded me of what I did. I no longer own a 45-70. I'm a small guy at 175#.

Nice shotgun, but the Deluxe 410 did not have a fluted forearm and the checkering pattern was the "double diamond" style.

The 522 Viper was a P0S. It will remain a junky P0S. It was an engineering mistake by Remington. There is plenty of links on line to confirm how bad it was.

The pups were rescued as a stray pack out of Porterville, CA, with their mom. The mom was also only in the 60 range, so it makes sense. We're kind of glad they said 69 and not 109. :D Time will tell.

I was in my house 60 miles from the epicenter of the Loma Prieta quake in 1989 when it hit. It was a 7.1 also. 3' of water left the pool. We were in our 2nd story bedroom, nothing was lost, but it messed with our heads for a while. First thing we did was back the cars out of the garage.

The local shop just bought the Honor Guard revolvers from the OSP. I think there were a total 12 S&W 686's. Several were no dash and the rest were 686-2. All have 4" barrels with presentation grips. None had been fired that much. The actions were the exact opposite of the current production...

Just remember to read and follow the torque instructions attached to the scope. It's real easy to over torque and damage the scope when mounting.

It's not an SC. It has a 24" barrel. It's a 336A-DL. Checkering and sling eyes were on the DL.
