Kim, your rifle is by no stretch of the imagination a BP gun. I really have no idea why Miroku chose to misname the new .45-90 as a BPCR other than there being no current loads for that caliber. Whatever, your gun is capable of handling whatever you choose to feed it and how much recoil you wish to ...

The only .32WCF revolver I owned was an original circa 1908 Colt SA. It was a fun gun to shoot and could be loaded safely to a level above the anemic factory fodder. It went away in a trade that I probably shouldn't have made, but it was fair enough at the time. I would dearly love to have a 4 3/4&q...

Vintage winchester prices
As I wander through the various internet gun sites, I am amazed and flabbergasted by the outrageous asking or starting prices for these old guns. A few are nice enough to warrant further examination, but many are poor representatives of the models. 1886s, in particular, seem to be escalating faster ...

Dang, those are beautiful guns, Vall. When's your next Redding show? I probably won't make Reno this time 'cause I'll be travelling across NV the following Thursday and can't afford the fuel for two trips over the hill. In no time we'll be forkin' over 4 bucks per gallon, so we're seriously cuttin' ...

VERY nice 94s 'ya got there, mod71alaska. I don't currently own any 1894s, but here are a few picks of the $700. '86 I picked up last year. The 45XXX serial number indicates a circa 1890 manufacture; it has a few wood issues, but the metal is clean and the bore excellent. The upper tang is cracked a...
