Winchester 1892 32 WCF to 357 Mag conversion

I have a Winchester model 92, 32-20 that has been converted to .357 mag.
I understand that some modification has to be done to the carrier, which wasn`t done at time of conversion. What modification does this consist of and can it be done by a non gunsmith?

Hello,

Your Model 94 was actually manufactured during 1940 not 1943. At this point you may want to entertain the idea of having it reblued so that the metal won't turn pumpkin orange orange with rust. The bluing is gone so it will need to be protected.

If I fish, I use a fly rod. Period! I just caught my 35th different species of fish on one yesterday!! I am heading out in the morning to stalk smallmouths in Traverse Bay, Michigan.
