it rained fri. morning only .25 in. now sun. & mon blows like heck from
the west, we mostly just get sand blasted here, but do see some
mud rain in between getting sand blasted & nothing

i use a max load (34gr.) of LVR in the carbine & 32.5 in the rifle,it
runs them around 2900 fps, I wish Hodgon had loads listed with LVR
for the 117gr bullet

That 25-35 looks real good & there a real treat to shoot
I like the 75gr. speer for blazing away at things, that jack would
have came apart with that bullet.
Trust me if you eat one jack you wont try it again!

Ive taken only 2 moose, at the time (the 70s) I had 2 rifles both 99s
in 300 & 308, I took the 308 & it worked real well
I have carried the 300 savage moose hunting but wasnt able to find
a moose willing to let me shoot it

never seen the doll befor or the auto reset gizmo
we had a old hand cranker when we was kids, it had varible speeds
we laughed pretty hard at that thing when ya put the wrong speed
