Next Will be Rossi 92 .357 carbine or maybe grandsons Winchester94 16nch .45 Colt trapper. Handgun will either be Colt SAA .45 Colt 5 1/2 inch, or Taurus 431 .44special. It all dep...

I have killed deer with a 94 30wcf but OL' '30-30 says he would shoot one all the way out to 25 yards. Yes the 30-30 will kill game accurately on out there a ways. Years ago when I had better eyes I killed a ground hog at 220 yards. It didn't even need a follow up shot.

That made a real nice looking sporting rifle. I would almost be tempted to have my 1898 made Krag rifle done like that, but it is complete but for the wood over the rear sight and the long top piece to the muzzle. It is a joy to shoot like it is.

MY father inlaw bought a new Bearcat back in the late 1960's. The only time I shot it I killed a nice big cotton tail with it so one shot can tell much but it was accurate.

Reckon you done real good snatching that rifle. There is some real beauty in an old long barreled Winchester rifle. I have a 1917 1892 32wcf round barrel rifle. I like to get it out of the safe and just handle it and look at it sitting by all of those carbines.

I thought about this yesterday but didn't put it in the post. go to Wal mart and buy a pair of their foam in soles. They do really make a difference in the boot fit, I have had to use two pair in some boots.
