Thankyou very much for your responses. After reading what you had to say I rang my dealer and committed to buying it. Now we wait for the Australian registry paperwork to get sorted and I will pick it up in about two weeks. Will let you know what I think when I get it. Thanks again for the responses...

Should I buy one?
Just had a look at one in 357 at my local dealers today and it looked lovely.
Anyone had personal experience with one?

Obviously the bow and arrow is better! How could you even think of anything but the bow!!!! I cannot believe anyone would even think of the 10-22. You cannot kill vampires with a 10-22 because you can no longer by silver rim fire ammunition. LOL Let's talk about the big issues - like the 9422 verses...

Nice guns there Dusty.
I have a heavy barrelled 1873, but the barrel is not a 28"
Mine is a Daisy marked rifle - because I am an Australian I like the Australian import mark.
How many of these things have you got?
Keep posting pictures until you run out.

For farmers, the competition for grazing is what creates the biggest problem. As was pre...

Well, It is hard to be exactly right without really handling your 1894. BUT my call is that it has been refinished before.
