We don't shoot bowling pins with 22s anymore. My wife shot one about 25 yards away. I was standing about 10 feet to her right and one of those little suckers came back and whacked my stomach. Didn't penetrate, but it sure stung! :o

Yep, only the sizer is carbide.

The sizer has a depriming pin.

They do have different seating punches for different bullets. Some of the manufacturers will make custom seating punches if one of their standard ones doesn't fit the bullet you're using.

FWIW, I handle Marlins in stores pretty regularly and I'd say 95% of the ones I look at are very good to excellent. Seen only a couple that shouldn't have been shipped by the factory or displayed by the store. No problems at all with the two that I own. :D
