I have steel and alloy-framed Para 1911s and have never needed repair, so I don't know any issues out there. All the guns from ParaUSA are under Remington's warranty service (with Remington parts) so whats the worry. My LDA lightweight has been plenty dirty on the trails but always operated happily...
