I haven't loaded 41 Mag in years but when I did H-110 was my favorite powder. I had Black Hawks, 58s, 57s and a 94 Marlin. They all liked it.

I remember before REC that my aunts and uncles who lived out in the country with no electricity would have one Aladin lamp to read by. Like you said, puts out a light about like a 60 Watt bulb. Best you could get as far as I know.

Ooh! I've got one almost like that under my pillow 'cept my barrel is 5 inches. I keep it loaded with 45 Colts with black and 200 grain bullets.

Oh yeah! I like that. I converted a Pietta 1860 Army with a Kirst cylinder and cut to 5 inches. Much less machining than what you did. I already knew about Big Brutus as it's only about 50 miles from here. I've taken the grandkids to see it. You go underneath, climb a ladder to the generator floor and can go up to the operators station. Unbelievably huge. But then an 8 gauge is huge.

The saddle ring carbine doesn't use a dovetail but has 2 rings. One on the fore-end and the other at the muzzle. I don't have either right now but I think 94 rings will work. Ask NKJ.
