That sucks. Ice for a couple of days, then heat.

By the way, if you bake Pheasant in something like Golden Mushroom soup, it becomes quite tender and is the best flavor of any bird.

As with any living mammal, to reach old age the individual must learn and be willing to prevent harm to itself. If the will to live is strong enough, the individual will be able to defend themselves with any means at hand to the extent which is necessary. In other words, you rarely grow old unless y...

I gave my son my 870 Wingmaster 20 gauge purchased new back in the mid 80s, and had it fitted to him due to his right handed-left eye dominant situation. It still looks almost new and still cycles as slick as oiled glass. If Remington still had the same quality now, they would not be facing bankrupt...

I can just imagine the guffaws from the gun writers. Why, even the thought of a moderate load with a lead bullet being able to be accurate, much less put meat on the table, is worthy of ridicule and scorn. Only the latest laser accurate light speed projectile will kill. Deer are much bigger and toug...

If, and that is a big if, I ever get a chance to hunt a moose, I would probably use either my Marlin 336 in .35 Remington or my Guide Gun. I have read a little, and the consensus seems to be that the .35 Remington is good enough if the bullet is placed well. Of course, a white tail deer can run a lo...
