This is what I've been waiting for. Ruger/Marlin has the 1894, 38 Spl/357 mag levergun on its website. Near as I can tell, pretty much the same specs & dimensions as before.

Howdy Bill,
The 303 Savage IS an interesting, vintage caliber. RCBS (and likely others) would certainly produce custom dies for you, if needed.
As you probably already know, copper solid bullets need to run full throttle to expand properly. Best wishes with your new endeavor !

Made wood up at deer camp about three weeks ago. Trail cams showed a significant increase in coyotes in the pics. Friend said there's a noticeable decrease in whitetail doe and practically no fawns. I’m kind of a steel snob. The Moore’s use mostly 1095 carbon steel. It’s an old steel and takes a good edge but doesn’t retain it as well as modern steels. It also rusts without care. Thanks for posting Mike, I've handled a Savage 219 rifle and they're a sweet addition to any 220.
I've been looking for a 20 ga (220) forever and I learned last year Savage made a small number in 28 gauge. Either of these would be a "grail gun".
