I ran the grey shirts that Six shows. It was a lot of work and inevitablely some folks will not be happy with the outcome but it was nice to correspond with everyone and do something for the group.

Nice shooting and a good looking USFA! The brother in law picked up the Uberti "Callahan" 44 mag when it first came out. Very nice sixgun and shoots as well as yours. He also treats it as a stout 44 special although he loads everything mag brass.

I use 38-55 brass in my 375s as well. Used to use a lot of 30-30 brass blown out but with the longer Starline brass available that is all my guns see now. I dont go as high as Paco with my loading.

I've always thought the 33wcf seemed like a very practical cartridge although I've never owned a rifle so chambered. I'd leave it alone and enjoy as is. Hawk Bullets makes appropriate bullets if your heart is set on jacketed.

I prefer casting and smelting in cold weather, especially since I got some some thinsulate gloves that fit under my old foundrymans gloves. Come summer the last thing I want to do is suit up and sweat by a hot lead pot.

At that depth I would get a real pouring resin from woodcraft. Very easy to use and crystal clear. Normal epoxies like West or System 3 will tend to be bubbly at that depth and if the hardener is oxidized it wont be clear.
