I put a Leupold VX3 scope on a 300 Win Mag and loaded up some 210gr Berger Hunting VLD's w/78 grains of Retumbo. I mounted Burris Signature Zee rings with 10moa inserts and put a .020" shim under the back scope mount. It chrono'd @2800fps. I zero'd the gun @ 100 yards, then I calculated my clic...

My uncle just sent me this regarding the pic.


They escaped from a pen. Have killed more than a dozen goats and maimed a horse belonging to a friend of mine. Two have been shot. They know there are at least one more pair still loose.

I walked into a local CalRanch store and they had the Ruger SR1911 for $679, if you bought one they gave you a $25 gift card....so I bought one......cause I needed the gift card.......lol

The 14 y/o son goes in to have some reconstructive surgery on his thumb tomorrow after his razor knife got away from him and exposed the bone. He severed some ligament/tendons (not sure which) HIS request to the Dr involved him getting a hard cast to protect his thumb his last month of football this...

We lost several family heirlooms during a move. One of which was a pocket watch given to my grandfather. It wasn't working so I took it to a watch repairman who made a new gear for it, got it working, and polished it up like new. I put it in a glass case and presented it to my father for fathers day...

When I grow up I'm building a 4speed kickstart Softail Panhead scooter with a rattlecan paintjob and no kickstand.....I'll ride it down to the local biker establishment, lay it over on its side...walk in for a cold one, walk back out and pick it up, kick it and cruise home....lol

Scrubbed out bugs and black powder and have the barrel prepped and waiting for the powder drums. One of the powder drums will be tapped for the cap nipple and then I'll have another one that I'll drill and tap myself so the nipple indexes underneath the hammer properly. Either way I'll have it cover...
