Oh yeah! Even with radio collars! Guys forget to turn them on sometimes, but Even with them on it gets problematic. When we had the camp, dogs showed up on occasion. Usually VERY happy to have found some people.
Sadly, these were the lucky ones. If out overnight, they are many times lost to coyotes.
