I have a wool blanket thrown across the back seat for the dogs (hair, toenails, etc.) and when the dogs aren't in the truck, I use it to cover my rifle. Just another lump under an ugly, lumpy blanket. When the dogs are in the truck, the rifle moves down to the rear floorboard, just under the seat. W...

Not strictly WWI movies, but I liked parts of them that were connected to the war: Legends of the Fall - Tristan followed his brother to war, swearing to bring him home. When he was unable to bring Sam's body home, Tristan brought his fallen brothers heart home packed in a can so that it could be bu...

The operating premise of modern police work is to create crime where it doesn't exist. Gotta keep those numbers up. It's always easier to trick some simple minded dope into doing something stupid or to catch him not paying attention than to catch a child molester or a shoplifter. The only difference...

Re: Traveling and the Law
This being said, firearms permits are a contentious issue. Some states refuse to honor other states' permits for concealed carry. However , the Firearms Owners Protection Act allows US citizens and permanent residents to travel in all states with unloaded (non-NFA) firearms that are not accessible ...

I truly do not see a need to counter these people, nor do I see a need for Christians to reaffirm their beliefs by forcing them on a public that does not share the faith or crave it's teaching. The birth date of Jesus has never been confirmed. The Bible does not command the celebration. While the bi...

What negativity? Just a couple of fellas expressing their strongly held opinions. My Dad gave my brother several prized guns a few years back. These were heirloom pieces that we used to pull out on Independence Day every year to send a few rounds down range when I was a kid. I went to visit my brother one year and when he showed them to me they were rusted and beaten to hell. I w...

Once you forfeit your American citizenship crossing the state line, all you'll have to do is leap into queue to join the fairy parade. I don't trust anyone who uses their religion like something they pulled out of a tool-box. If you don't care to control you own dog(s) don't be surprised and don't be a ******* cry-baby if someone else is forced to do so.
