Lack of spare parts was part of the problem. No way to rebuild them after the Revolution. The drop down feature makes it a whole lot easier to get the bullet seated straight.

Did you measure the Leverevolution brass? The reason it is shortened is to allow it to cycle through Marlin Actions, so only certain calibers (not all calibers) require that the brass be trimmed shorter. .348 brass does not have to be excessively shortened to shoot FTX bullets. There are several gunsmiths that convert Bearcats to 5-shot .327s.

I have mine sighted in to where I am about 4" low at 200 yards. Not quite MPBR. Any farther than that and the front post covers up too much of the target/animal. I haven't moved the settings since then

I get up at 0600 (that's sleeping in if I was on day shift) and then lay down for a 3 to 4 hour nap about noon before going to work that 1st night on back shift.
I am too old to be awake more than 20 hours at a time anymore.
And switching from days to nights and back messes up my coffee intake.

I have a Providence Tool company pattern 21 sight on my 1895 Browning (that I got off of Jason, in fact).
It came with drill bit and tap needed to complete installation. Very pleased.

There are lots of affordable flashlight mounts available.

But...

I have zip tied more than one flashlight to a pump shotgun or levergun. Works great, easily removed and replaced.
