Unethical hunter

Here s a guy in my province that give all hunters a bad name.He was filmed shooting at a doe in the middle of the road with cars and houses near by.The guy must be desperate to get a deer.The authorities are currently looking for him.When they catch up to him I hope they throw the book at him.

The Henry 410 lever is a good gun.I had the win94/410 and I think the Henry is a more solid and reliable lever in 410.For better patterns get the version with the 24inch barrel and screw in chokes .The only thing though with the Henry your limited to 2 1/2 inch shells. Yes when one finds a gun with wood on it like that ,it s almost mandatory that you buy it as if you didn’t t you would be kicking yourself for a longtime.Hell I would even put up with the silent treatment from my wife for a year to buy that gun .(At least I could cuddle the gun lol)

John Clark of Ontario Canada.He produced his own locks which were basically a Durrs Egg lock and they are so identical that an L&R Durrs Egg lock will just about drop right in .He also produced fine custom guns,he is now deceased

I love my browning 1886 but one thing to consider with an 86 vs the Henry is that you can put a scope on the Henry if you want to down the road.

The extractor use to be a weak point on the early 66s in 22lr .I had one of the early ones and the extractor wasn’t broke but wore enough it couldn’t get the case out .I have read it was common on them at one time

The 76 was the last of the real winchesters everything after that was all John Browning.The 76 filled a gap for a need of a more powerful lever gun albeit for a short time.The 76 also served the North West Mounted Police for 32 years ,It s due it’s place in history

I have one of the Winchester 100 anniversary 95 carbines great little gun.I wish they would do a Canadian carbine version chambered for 303 brit,they were really popular here in a Canada years ago but most version you find are normally well worn

Only problem I had with recoil in 44mag was shooting both a Ruger no 3 and a browning 92 was my knuckles use to get rapped by the lever on both guns.Not bad for hunting but for target shooting it was an annoyance
