I make home brew shot shells for 45 acp out of 308's ( don't use 30-06, because of the space for the extractor)! 308 is the same as on a 45 acp case. Just from what I read in the instructions. Said that 30-06 might cause trouble with extractor in pistol! 5 grs of bullseye , .375 gas check, #8 shot....
