OT - Too rich.....Dumb vs Dumber

This should be a spectacle.... Cindy Sheehan to Challenge Pelosi for Seat in Congress http://www.cnsnews.com/public/content/article.aspx?RsrcID=34093 I wish we could fence off San Freakcisco from the rest of the state. Something along the lines of that classic 80's movie Escape from New York!!

Re: And Here I Thought Arkanas Was a "Free State"

Hmmm.....good thing no one in town is working an off-hours shift and is on their way home at 3am.... "" As far as I'm concerned, at 3 o'clock in the morning, nobody has any business being on the street, except the law ," Councilman Eugene "Red" Johnson said. "Anyone out...

OT - US Communist Party Prefers Obama

No surprise there. However, I'd bet a case of ammo that we'll never hear this broadcast on the MSM.

Re: Looming CA Firearms Restrictions - Response

Yeah I see posts all the time about moving out of California and what not. I still try to convince my wife we need to move to Alaska or Montana or some other friendly red state out here in the West. Both of us could easily pick up consulting jobs in no time. I dunno...maybe its just that I don't lik...

Looming CA Firearms Restrictions - Response

As some of you know, our wonderful CA legislators are once again considering several anti-gun laws that will restrict ammo sales, implement untested smart gun technology, and ban guns shows at state-owned venues. Well, I wrote most, if not all of the political varmints that I could track down. All o...

Hey Lever...funny you should ask...I just sent off an email to a guide service I use over near Clear Lake for pig hunting. D & E Guide Service takes hunters out to the Guenoc Ranch south of Clear Lake. I bagged a nice fat sow last fall and I'm getting ready to go out for another one in the next ...

I just bought one from Buffalo Arms for my Browning 95. It's enroute and I'll post some pics and impressions once it arrives at the homestead. I dont trust myself to do the drill and tap routine on such a beautiful rifle so I'll be dropping it off at my local 'smith.

Stay tuned.

I'd use my Browning 95 chambered in 30-40 Krag with 165 or 180 grain Sierras. Move up to the 220 grainers if moose are on the docket.

None of the short mags or compact mags hold my interest but I'd never begrudge someone from using one. To each their own.

These are gorgeous rifles. I picked up a Browning 1895 in 30-40 Krag about 2 years ago nearly-NIB from an estate sale. Stuck a barrel band swivel on her and I'm now looking for a better rear sight to replace the buckhorn. Mine loves the 180gr Sierra spitzer over a charge of IMR4350. Don't remember t...

Removing the lawyer safety on a Rossi 92

I've poked around for some info but to no avail. Has anyone ever removed that stupid bolt-mounted safety toggle from a Rossi 92?

My local 'smith won't remove it, for obvious legal reasons.

Thanks.

Sharptop...you may be quite correct in that some sort of ban/restriction will be coming down the pipe. I have ZERO confidence in the Republicans to do much to stop it. That party has too many globalists who agree with the Dems on this. The line between Repub and Demo has really blurred in the last 2...

Howdy...great site...new member... My wife and I live in Sacramento, CA. I'm a network engineer for Verizon and she's a project management consultant to the State. We both love fishing and we'll camp or hike any chance we get. We also enjoy gardening, football, brewing beer, and want to try our hand...
