Excellent topic idea, particularly if we can manage to keep on topic as you said  . I have never regretted getting any of my 444 Marlin rifles, and have considered rebarreling my Ruger No. 1 in 7 mm Rem Mag into 444 Marlin. The main criticism I hear other than the obvious fact that there are ...

I find it interesting that more than a century after the 1911 Colt pistol and 1903 Springfield rifle were the official military gear, they are still perfectly suited to such tasks. Bring it up a half-century and swap the bolt-action for a Garand or M-1A, or even further, and swap out the single-sta...

I work with hydraulics. There are many styles of seals and cylinders. I would get a parts breakdown to see what exactly is involved. Some are very simple, some take 3 people a week and still need luck. Depends mainly on how the cylinder disassembles.

When the 380 ammo disappeared a couple of years ago, I bought a mold, dies, etc. and started to reload practice ammo. Never had much need to before when ammo was plentiful. It reached astronomical prices - $1 per round some places. Glad to see it is more available now at a decent price.
