I grew up in Jamestwn, NY. My mom sold industrial supplies to Camillus, Case, Ontario Knives, etc. We always got a knife from one or the other at Christmas.

Dealt with SSK several times in the past. They are putting a muzzlebrake on a 45-70 15" barrel right now. They are the best people to deal with that I have seen in a long time. Recommend them without reservation.

Bought a CZ SXS 12 gauge coach gun with hammers. Paid $800 and the quality is superb. Wood is a little plain but the fitting of metal/wood is as good as it gets.

PP works very well with smokeless. I size the bullet/patch to groove diameter.
Use the 550 gr RCBS PP mould for the 4570 and 458 Win Mag. Loads of fun!

Scored a used 54 Renegade this last summer for $125 at a yard sale. Few handling marks, whoever had it kept it clean and lubed- NO RUST!. Find it very accurate with 90 grs 2F and a round ball. Great fun too shoot.

When I bought my NIB Browning 71 at a gunshow it had the factory tags on it and the lever tied down-had never been cycled. The seller was horrified when I cut the tie and cycled the action after I paid him. Was shooting it before the day was done. Great rifle!

I have had a Walther PPKS in 380, was very nice and yes it bit my finger a little. Shoot a Berretta 84FS now. Little big to carry as easily as some others, but it is nice to shoot.

Shot mine the other day. It is accurate with a 290 gr cast RFN mold I have from NEI. It has a rather fat ogive so it fills the throat well. Like already posted-cast .431 or .432. Was stationed in the MARDET on a carrier. When an A-7 broke its' gear and skidded to a halt on the deck the Flight Deck Officer asked the pilot a similar question. The reply from the pilot was "With all due respect sir, I don't bother you when you are having a bowel movent".
