Thanks Hobie I like that stuff. My dad worked on a ranch in north Montana in the 1920's not much different than these pictures. Looks like most carried a Colt sixgun too.

When I carry my old 3 inch S&W 65 I keep it full of the 125gr. Glden Sabers. I have no first hand knowledge of their performance but I believe they will do the job. My Rossi 2 inch is loaded with 125gr. Federal Nyclads,I think they will work for me too.

I had a 141 .25 Remington back in 1961, bought it from an old man that had quit hunting years before. I had to order ammo from some place in Texas, it was high.I really liked the rifle and shot it alot but found something else and traded it off. Oh well, once again.

game keeper, I have '92 32-20 rifle and it is just as swet a rifle and round as you could imagine. Is it possible for you to buy an old '92 from a dealer here and import it? That might be cheaper than a 'new '66 or '73.

Boy you have two of my most favoritest calibers. My old '92 32-20 is a 1917 and has been with since the early 1950's and I have an old .44spl Charter Arms that I sure do trust for any thing I want done. A real fine combo you have there.

Griff the bag is rough pig skin, didn't know how it would work out but after
38 years it has done the job,made this one in 1970. The horn is a little big for a hunting horn but at the matches it was fine.

Thanks Kirk, I am going to load some more of the 85 grain XTP's and I did get some 100 grain XTP bullets also. I don't reckon I'll hit 2000 fps but I eill get them up a little more than 1225 fps.

K irk, I know those old HV loads were hot for the time I used to shoot them regular in my 32wcf when I could get them. Do you have any idea what the velocity on the 80 HV for the 32wcf was?They shot great in a Colt 32wcf I had for a while too.

My 1917 Winchester '92 32-20 has a flat top with a very fine notch. I was 15 when I got the rifle and thought that sight was just great, suprisingly I can still shoot good with it maybe tomorrow I can get a good picture posted of the rear sight.

Rusty, back when I had my license I got this one for a friend he didn't shoot it much. I bought it back when he had me order a S&W .40, I do carry it some. it is a 65-3 from the mid 1980's
I kinda reckon the 32-20 .45 combo is my favorite too.
