Thanks Gents appreciated, I used oak for the boxes cut on the table saw from a 2x4 the thickness varied from 1/6 to 1/8th then put in a tray of water heated to 180 degrees for about 30 minutes. As for a carry gun i use a XDS.

Thanks guys, yep it`s all in the ring settings to make them work proper.
Had a gunsmith tell me they arn`t no good for home defense that ya had to shoot them from the shoulder, this one will shoot from the hip and never jam if set up right.

Grizz the only advice i can give is your anchor point must be consistent with every shot, as far as aiming some call it instinctive but i aim also. When i`m looking at the target at 20 yards i`m also seeing the tip of the arrow which i know where it has to be, at that distance i see the tip right ab...

Grizz i`m trying to put something together for a big back stop also, if your shooting target points at least 20 yards i think a heavy carpet would stop them.
Those big round hay bales work good too, as far as shooting practice practice is the only way i`ve found best.

Put the scale on both bows, the first one should be about 20 lb`s and the one with the red on it should make 30 lb`s, be good for the Grand kids.
