Interesting, using smokeless in the Encore. I have not heard of that. I use Blackhorn 209 in my Encore and it works very well and is easy to clean up after.

Sounds like you have a Browser HiJack Object (BHO) or something similar. Install Malwarebyte's free Anti-Malware, update it, and then scan. Let it fix anything it finds.

Hobie,
If I'm not mistaken IHMSA rimfire targets are 1/2 size just like as NRA Hunter Pistol, Smallbore Levergun and Pistol cartridge levergun. The main difference is the thickness of the steel they are made of. I made a set out of cardboard.

As to the Contenders I just don't see how they can keep track. The guns have been converted back and forth so many times with transfers in between that it would be a bear of a job to track a single frame back to the original condition, almost all of which were as pistols. This is one of those "...

Previous rulings by the ATF have maintained that while the T/C lawsuit of 1992 allowed the conversion of a pistol to a rifle (Barrel length of 16+" and overall length of 26+") once converted to a rifle it must remain a rifle. Apparently a new ruling was issued August 2, 2011 reversing that...

Hobie, If you are shooting open sights those little 1/5 targets will be hard to see. I did it once with my lever gun. It is a challenge!
