You may want to keep an eye on your local Big 5 Sporting goods store ads as they often have the Savage w/scope for under your budget.Just remember tax and all the added Calif stuff for your total

Weaver scope repair was bought from the original company.they repaired the original all steel Weaver scopes pre 1983.They had nothing to do with present day Weaver scopes.
