Over many years I must have bought at least 200 to 300 guns. Probably the majority of them used. Bought only two used ones off the net the rest face to face. I never "got took" but had a good old collector friend that was my mentor when I started out.

Somewhere I have a orange handled knife something like that with a odd switchblade. It has a curved blade for cutting parachute cord. I think my uncle gave it to me when I was a kid as he was in the 82nd AB during war 2.

I had a cousin who fell from one and broke his back. I have never hunted from one. I was raised in wisconsin. I think when I grew up hunting there in the 1950`s they were illegal but soon after they must have legalized them as they were all over.

I have this Ruger in 7X57. It`s a sweetheart caliber. Low recoil, accurate and flat shooting. Mine shoots to the same POA with light or heavier bullets.
