Take a pepper packet from a fast food restaurant and keep it in a ziploc bag with your hunting gear, your range bag, and your fishing equipment.

Proof that even knowing what to avoid doesn't always make you avoid it. Having bandages, super glue, and black pepper when hunting or shooting is always a good idea. For those who are on blood thinners, black pepper sprinkled on the bleeding areas stops the bleeding and clots it faster than anythin...

I have a Mossberg 500 in 12 gauge. It came with the spare rifled barrel. It is the 3 inch magnum version for both barrels. I have never used 3 inch in it. It just doesn't sound fun anymore.

I do not consider the Fascists of Antifa to be part of our Country. Same with BLM, and a few others. I love my Country, and seriously dislike its enemies. Sounds like a fun day. Jim, you need to go see if that Confederate Soldier's ghost down near that college there will come shoot with you sometime. After all this time alone, just scaring college kids out playing in the river, he is probably lonesome for some real human company.

I bought some stuff to spray on cords which was supposed to taste so bad that a puppy would stop chewing. It never worked for my puppies. Teething is too strong of a force to stop at a bad taste. One puppy chewed through a set of 4 gauge jump start cables.

It’s accuracy enough to make up for the lack of power and I don’t think your typical Antifa soy boy is any tougher than a coyote. My experience is from Army training, but not actual combat. Few humans have the willpower to continue like a wild animal after sustaining a serious injury. A 22 Mag can ...

Re: What is your most useful levergun?
Absolutely. Accuracy is paramount to full power. A .480 with standard weight bullets (300-370) will cleanly take anything in the lower 48, and do great on most everything in Africa. I think the ability to shoot accurately and put your shot exactly where you want to, is much better than firing a how...

Looked up a bit of data. Ruger only loads in .45 Colt usually go no more than 30,000 CUP. Approximately 30,000 psi. DO NOT QUOTE ME, look it up yourself and follow published data. I would feel safe using Ruger only loads in a rifle which handles .480 Ruger and 454 Casull. Work up carefully and have ...

Re: Rossi .45 Colt 92 rifle... and hot loads
.480 Ruger was made by Rossi. They run to a maximum of 48,000 psi. Honestly, that pressure is not necessary for most critters, but it is nice to know that you can get there if something big and dangerous needs to be whacked. That psi would be pretty hot in a .45 Colt caliber, but it certainly means ...

I just looked at my notes. 9x 57 rimmed is what I was looking at. Less power and less pressure. A 20 gauge shotgun action is not really strong enough for much more. I have something in a combo for when I want to launch 400 grains at 1300 fps.
