With a change in springs more reliability can be had. If a stock gun, just run ammo that mimics factory loads. Usually need not be max.

Yes, I was given one (by a lawyer who still owes me $75,000) and carry it often in the Southwest with snake shot up front and .44 Specials in it. I just changed the rear sight to something I like a lot more than the V that was on it.

Heck, even if they worked them 12 hours without break (which was possible), that's a hundred an hour or more than 1 a minute. Must have done them in stages, using loading blocks, but still... that is very impressive!

One of the two Rossi's the .44 Mag or the .357 Mag gets carried the most when walking the dogs. With the cats around you don't know when they want to play and both are set up for night use.

I have started using Tennis racket bags for my take-down guns from AR-10 (in this photo) to the 1897 12 ga I carried in my motorcycle saddlebags. MY MP-5 and Co-Pilot fit in a single racket bag. They don't draw attention when taking them in and out of the truck or carrying them into hotels.

I like the lock blades or autos made out of the newer powdered steels for durability. They are very hard steel, hold an edge unbelievably well, and take great abuse. I would put them against any for reliability.
