Fast and reliable. But get a demoon and a mooner. They make filling and emptying the clips quick and easy. They aren't needed on my 1917, as the cylinder is setup so that the round will headspace correctly. but ejection then requires a wood dowel or other such tool.

The original sights on my Marlin GS just didn't get it for my old eyes. I went to the XS ghost ring. It works very well. These are now backups for the C-More holo sight.

Can't speak to the 30-30, but the 45-70 is about as accurate and realiable as any factory ammo. It does shoot flatter. If the darned deer would cooperate, I could let you know about terminal performance.

Ever tried to get a bullet out of a barrel after a squib load. Go for it, but be prepared or you might be gunless until you get the tools to remove it from the barrel.
