Re: PSE Coyote recurve bow

I've never saw a coyote recurve in person, but my advice is to buy yourself a 45# used Bear off of the auction site. A nice Kodiak Hunter or Grizzly model will do. my 2 cents .DT That would be my thought also especially if you are going to instinct shoot with no sights, as that is the way recurves ...

Re: PSE Coyote recurve bow

I used to have a PSE take down recurve that may be similar to the one you speak of. It was good but I don't use any sights so the extra length and size of the riser was too much for me. I like the Bear Kodiak magnum or others in the 48 to 52 in length. You just got to build them muscles up and it sh...

Gray Squirrel

Didn't have as much time today but went after some gray Squirrels with the 25WCF and got one. I had to wait him out for about 30 minutes and his curiosity finally made him present just his head at about 25 yards.

Cooked it as soon as I got it cleaned.

I have that same type of Lyman front sight on a 92. What do you suppose the white insert is made of ? BTW that rifle is sweet just the way it is. Suppose it is the same way as a 94 in that the barrel is plainly marked Nickel Steel is another special option?

Re: Can you please educate me on the Winchester 38-40--thank you

Just keep in mind the problems it can pose, like over size bores that need a fat bullet which drives the need for a custom sizer. Then there is the case neck issue that some have, where as the chambers are cut long in the body area and fired cases lose half of the neck sized length. If you get one a...
