7.62' as this stuff "bit" you years ago, and the second time it "got" you was so severe, I think maybe you have developed a bad allergy to this stuff. I suggest you not work the rest of the year, but hunt and fish three times a day with moderate bourbon intake at night...

Dkmlever, the head gunsmith at Nagles gunshop in San Antonio, knows Browning O/U shotguns, I talked to him recently about shotguns, and his knowledge is impressive to say the least, give him a ring at 210 342 5420 (Larry Wengler).

45colt, old-time wood workers would use the sun to darken wood without any stain.. A light colored piece of wood will darken right up after just a few days in bright sunlight. This is a technique I have used for years to match one piece (color wise) to the piece being repaired.

Shrapnel, that is some nice work, I have considered trying some bone sets myself. I carve lots of bone in my shop, but these peices are not near big enough. Would a cow femur not be large enough for revolver grips?
