The tester on e-bay is currently at $65 with 5 days left. I printed out the order form for LBT and will send it out tomorrow. I ordered a Thermometer from Amazon plus the new "Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook". My bullets are getting cheaper & cheaper all the time with everything I buy. :lol...

What hardness tester to buy

I'm in the market for a Lead Hardness Tester. Which one do U use/recommend ? I have looked at several-actually there aren't that many to choose from. They all seem pretty simple. There are Pros & Cons of using one in the first place. So what say You Levergunners ?

My Win 94 that I had rebored had a scope on it which I removed. The scope base was for a round barrel and the 94 has an Octagon barrel. It had some type of rubbery substance on it used for bedding the mount. It came off pretty easy using a razor blade. Come to think of it, it didn't stick to the sco...

I think I have it figgered out. As U know the Lee mold messed up but I got it working reasonably well. I messed the mold up with a drill bit. I melted some together tonite. Pretty close to 50-50 candle/Vaseline with a little toilet ring to even them out and a splash of gas treatment(haven't figured out what that is for), I have seen some formulas calling for some stp oil treatment and I can see that. It is setting up now in a muffin pan. ...
