We get about 45K out of the Yokohamas on the Subaru Outback. We're at 39K on the OEM tires on the Dodge 2500. And I get about 8K out of the Michelin Pilot Road 3's on the Yamaha FJR.

I have an early 80's M77 RSI in 243 that's plenty accurate enough for deer and pig. No FTF's or issues with the tang safety at all.

Bob, I put hundreds of rounds of Federal XM193 55gr and M855 62gr surplus 5.56 through my 527 Varmint with no issues. I also double-checked with CZ. Can't speak to the Chinese stuff, though. Wolf was dirty but shot well enough to be plinking ammo.

I had a CZ 527 Varmint and loved it, but foolishly sold it to fund a varmint AR build. That little CZ ate every load without a hiccup and had a 1:9 twist. It didn't seem to make much difference which 55gr round I used, as they all shot pretty nicely. Steel case stuff was no issue, either. The best l...

Cabela's Reno was in the same condition. No RF except for .17. But, the LGSs around here have plenty of .22.
Go figure.
The issue I see around here are shortages of common powders. Although I was able to find IMR 4895 & 4350 thank goodness.
